Tropical cyclone Isang intensified into a storm as it was moving to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at about 3 a.m. Saturday, according to state weather bureau Pagasa.

At 3:00 a.m., the center of Tropical Storm Isang was at 270 kilometers west of Bacnotan, La Union, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is moving westward at 25 kph.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 remains up over 13 areas:
The Ilocos Region will experience rain with gusty winds, while the Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to Isang.
On the other hand, habagat will affect Occidental Mindoro, Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, the rest of the Visayas, and the rest of Mimaropa, Bicol Region, and the rest of Mindanao.

Localized thunderstorms are expected in the rest of Luzon.
According to Pagasa, Isang will exit the PAR on Saturday morning.
